Vice Admiral Pramod Bhasin, PVSM, AVSM, VSM

A ) After retirement Pramod became DG-ATV ie Director General Advance Technology Vehicle in the rank of Secretary, Government of India. The project was to build India’s first Nuclear Submarine and also the nuclear tipped missiles. The submarine was commissioned as Arihant and the missiles are known as B- 05 (Bhasin 05). 05 being his date of birth.


B) He then became Chairman Defence counsel of ASSOCHAM. He worked in ASSOCHAM for 8 years.


C) Simultaneously he was senior Defence Adviser with Larsen & Toubro.

 

Post 2016 he retired from all assignments.

Shammi has continued to excel even after leaving the service.

Maj Gen Mohan Singh

Given below are details of Mohan Singh’s tenure in the Army Welfare Housing Organisation (AWHO)

Joined in May 2001 and left in April 2009, after a long innings of 8 yrs

(a) When he joined, there were about 12 housing projects going on, of a total value of about Rs. 500 Crores.

(b) When he left there were 32 ongoing housing projects all over India costing about Rs. 2500 Crores.

(c) He increased the annual turnover from Rs. 60 Crores to Rs. 500 Crores

(d) The total number of houses he constructed in 8 yrs was equivalent to the total work done by AWHO in their 20 yrs of existence before his joining

In AWHO he was officially allowed to continue wearing his uniform even after retiring from the Army

He remained in uniform for 50 yrs. from 1959 (NDA) to leaving AWHO in 2009, A RECORD BY ITSELF.

Maj Gen Anil Sawhney

After retiring from the Army in 2002, Anil joined Moser Baer (I) Ltd, the world’s second largest Optical Media company. He finally sought to be relieved from Moser Baer and bid good bye to them in Jan 2011 after heading one of the divisions.

He is now also into photo-voltaics & many other Energy businesses.

Director with a few not so large companies such as: MB Power (Madhya Pradesh) Ltd, Moser Baer Projects Ltd to name some.

Apart from such activities he is also presently President of a Cooperative Housing Society hoping to put up 400 odd flats in Greater Noida in the very near future
